How to Add a Speech Bubble to a Photo
You can add a speech bubble to any picture in under a minute, with nothing to install.
- Pick a picture. On the meme maker, upload your own image, paste one from your clipboard, or choose one of the cat templates.
- Add a bubble. Click Add bubble, then type what you want it to say.
- Aim the tail. Drag the round handle so the tail points at the speaker's mouth. Drag the bubble itself to move it, and the square handle to resize it.
- Style it. Choose a bubble style, text size and colours. High contrast between text and fill is easiest to read on a phone.
- Save. Download the PNG, or on a phone use Save to Photos.
Tips
Keep the text short: two lines at most. Leave the subject's face uncovered, and place the bubble in empty space such as sky or a plain wall. Use several bubbles to make a back-and-forth conversation.
Your image stays in your browser the whole time and is never uploaded.
